Abilene Man Arrested for Promoting Child Porn

Abilene Police Department detectives with the Cyber Crimes Unit arrested a 27-year-old Abilene man with one count of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography with Intent to Promote Child Pornography. The arrest occurred on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Mark Eichorn was contacted during an investigation for the possession of child pornography. Electronic evidence was collected from Eichorn’s cell phone that contained lewd images of children.

Eichorn was transported and is being held at the Taylor County Jail. The investigation is ongoing. The Department asks anyone with any other information regarding Mark Eichorn, to contact the department at 676-6610 and ask to speak with Cyber Crimes.
