Richmond Man Arrested for Promoting Child Porn in Montgomery County Investigation

On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Montgomery County Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigations Division, with assistance from The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, and the Rosenberg Police Department, executed a residential search warrant at a residence located in Richmond, Texas.

The search warrant stemmed from the Montgomery County Pct. 3 ICAC Detective’s proactive investigation related to the promotion and distribution of child pornography into The Woodlands.

The investigation found that the defendant, Lance Ray Findley, was associated with promoting and possessing thousands of images depicting violent acts being conducted on children and sexual abuse of children. Findley was charged with five counts of Promotion/Distribution of Child Pornography in Montgomery County.

Findley was transported to the Montgomery County jail and is currently being held on a $300,000 bond.
