AUSTIN COUNTY, Texas — An Austin County man was arrested on multiple felony charges after investigators linked him to a shooting at a residence and later recovered firearms and narcotics during the execution of search warrants, according to the Austin County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation began on June 10, 2026, when the Austin County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting shots fired into a residence near the 10000 block of Highway 36 North.
Responding deputies learned that a male suspect had arrived at the residence, fired multiple shots at a victim and fled the scene in a vehicle before law enforcement arrived.
Investigators with the Austin County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and a forensic investigator responded to process the scene and collect evidence.
