HPD Releases Images of Suspects Wanted in Deadly West Houston Shooting

HOUSTON — Investigators are searching for two suspects in connection with a deadly shooting at a west Houston apartment complex, according to the Houston Police Department.
The shooting occurred around 5:40 p.m. on May 2 at the Sedona Square Apartments in the 11700 block of South Glen Drive. Officers responding to the scene found a 19-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a breezeway. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives G. Rangel and H. Montealegre, the victim had exited an apartment to meet someone when he was shot. Investigators say two males were seen fleeing the scene shortly after the shooting.
The suspects are described as Black males between the ages of 18 and 20. Surveillance images of the individuals have been released as police work to identify them.
