Houston Police Seek Persons of Interest in Fatal Shooting of 17-Year-Old at Gas Station

HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are asking for the public’s help identifying two persons of interest in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old at a gas station on Fondren Road.

The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. on April 26 at a Shell gas station in the 5800 block of Fondren Road. Officers responded to reports of gunfire and found Ronald Xiloj Cua lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Investigators said a vehicle was seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting. That same vehicle later arrived at a nearby hospital, where one of its occupants was treated for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Detectives have since identified two male individuals as persons of interest in the case and have released their photos.
