Man Fatally Shot at Sharpstown Gas Station; Houston Police Investigating

HOUSTON, Texas — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday evening at a gas station in the Sharpstown area.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded around 8 p.m. on April 26, 2026, to a shooting at a Shell gas station in the 5800 block of Fondren Road.
When officers arrived, they found a man in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene.
Authorities said the victim is believed to be in his 20s, but his identity is pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Investigators learned that a vehicle was seen leaving the scene. That same vehicle later arrived at a nearby hospital, where one of its occupants was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
