Austin Massage Therapist Arrested on Sexual Assault Charge, Police Seek Additional Victims

Austin, TX — Austin police have arrested a massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting a client at a spa in The Domain and say additional victims may exist.

According to the Austin Police Department, the reported assault occurred on November 2, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m. at a spa business located at 11011 Domain Drive.

The victim reported the incident to police several days later and identified the suspect as Edwin Vargas-Garzon, a massage therapist employed at the establishment.

Following an investigation by APD detectives, Vargas-Garzon was arrested on February 7, 2026, and charged with sexual assault.

During the investigation, detectives learned there may have been additional incidents involving Vargas-Garzon at multiple massage therapy businesses across the Austin area and nearby communities.
