Austin Man Arrested for Fatal Homicide After Victim’s Body Found in Cardboard Box

Austin, TX – Austin Police have arrested 24-year-old Aidan Hunt in connection with the death of 63-year-old Robert Wentworth, whose body was found on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Officers discovered Wentworth deceased inside a large cardboard box behind a bus stop at 4107 Victory Drive. He was pronounced dead on scene at 5:53 p.m.
Homicide detectives and crime scene specialists processed the area and interviewed witnesses. Investigators determined that Wentworth had been living with Hunt, who resided just a few hundred yards from where the victim’s body was located. A search warrant executed at Hunt’s residence uncovered evidence linking him to the murder, leading to the issuance of a First-Degree Murder warrant.
On Sunday morning, November 16, 2025, the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Hunt in the 3900 block of Lamar Boulevard without incident.
