Armed and Dangerous Man Sought After Shots Fired at Deputies in Sugar Land

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 35-year-old Billy Alfaro, a person of interest in an incident involving gunfire directed at deputies early Saturday morning in Sugar Land.
At approximately 2:50 a.m. on August 2, 2025, deputies responded to a welfare check in the 11200 block of Beverly Park Street after receiving reports of loud arguing and banging. Upon arrival, an adult male attempted to flee but was apprehended and arrested.
During the arrest, a second adult male exited the residence and allegedly fired shots toward a deputy before retreating inside. No injuries were reported. SWAT responded and ordered all occupants to leave the residence. The second man, identified as Billy Alfaro, fled the home and remains at large.
Alfaro is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.
