82-Year-Old Man Dead in Southwest Houston Crash
Authorities are currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Wednesday, December 6, at approximately 3:35 p.m. The incident took place at 14600 South Post Oak Road in Southwest Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, an 82-year-old male was fatally injured in the crash. The identity of the deceased is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Preliminary findings indicate that a red Chrysler 300 was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of South Post Oak Road. The vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree. Emergency services responded and transported the male driver of the Chrysler to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the medical center. No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the incident. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
