Houston Police Release Surveillance Video in Fatal Hit-and-Run Case That Killed Bicyclist

The Houston Police Department has made public a surveillance video featuring a vehicle of interest in connection to a deadly hit-and-run incident that occurred on November 19 at approximately 9:10 p.m. The incident took place at 1600 Houston Avenue.
The vehicle in question is described solely as a white sedan, with no information available regarding its make or model. The victim, identified as 36-year-old James Midkiff, was riding a bicycle southbound near a railway intersection when he was struck from behind by the white sedan. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and provide assistance, fleeing the scene in a southbound direction on Houston Avenue, heading towards the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45).
Mr. Midkiff was pronounced deceased on November 22 at Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center.
As of now, there is no known description of the suspect driver.
