Young Man Dead in Houston Motorcycle Crash

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred around 2 a.m. on April 3rd at 1000 Meadows Street. The deceased, identified as a 20-year-old male, was operating a black Kawasaki motorcycle northbound onto the ramp from the East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) connector ramp to the Eastex Freeway (North U.S. Highway 59).

Preliminary investigations suggest that the motorcycle failed to maintain its lane, collided with a concrete barrier, and subsequently veered off the ramp, landing on the ground below.

The identity of the deceased is awaiting verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Family members discovered the male after the crash, and Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
