Woman Arrested For Hitting Deputy in the Face

On April 23, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance in the 16200 block of Friar Cir. in Spring, Texas. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Desire Charlot, was found at the scene. Charlot, who was already out on a $1,000 bond for Assault, had reportedly physically assaulted someone during a verbal argument.

During the attempt to detain her, Charlot struck one of the deputies across the face with an open hand.

As a result, she was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Charlot faces charges of Assault and Assault on a Peace Officer. Her bond has been set at $20,000 by County Court 10 and the 351st District Court.
