Woman Arrested After Deputies Find Crack Cocaine and Mushrooms in Houston Traffic Stop

A woman was arrested after deputies discovered crack cocaine and psychedelic mushrooms during a traffic stop in the 380 block of Park Drive in the Greater Eastwood area.

Harris County Precinct 3 Day Shift Deputies initiated the stop on a green Chevrolet Tahoe for a transportation code violation. The driver, identified as Crystal Commander, was ordered to exit the vehicle. Deputies then observed crack cocaine on the floorboards.

A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a clear plastic bag containing 2.5 grams of mushrooms inside a purple bag, along with two small white crack rocks weighing 0.1 grams. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted a charge of possession of a controlled substance against Commander.

She was taken into custody, transported, and booked into the Harris County Jail.
