Williamson County Deputies Seize Fentanyl and Meth Following Overdose Incident

On February 4, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Williamson County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) Organized Crime Unit (OCU) responded to an overdose incident at a residence in the 16400 block of FM 1325 in Austin, Texas.

Patrol deputies arrived on the scene and administered Narcan to a 46-year-old female, who was then transported to a local hospital for further care. Following the incident, the OCU obtained a search warrant for the residence. The search led to the discovery and seizure of fentanyl and methamphetamine.

The WCSO continues to combat the rise of fentanyl, which remains the leading cause of death for individuals aged 18 to 45 nationwide. The Sheriff’s Office urges individuals struggling with addiction to seek help.
