Williamson County Authorities Seize $1 Million in Drugs, Arrest Two in Major Narcotics Bust
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Austin Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division (DPS CID) Gang Unit, announced significant progress in a narcotics investigation on January 23, 2025. This joint operation reflects a strong commitment to the safety of Williamson County residents.
Following an extensive investigation, detectives from the Organized Crime Unit identified an apartment complex at 11010 Domain Dr., Austin, TX, as a key location in the operation. On the morning of January 23, search warrants were executed at two apartments within the complex. Authorities seized a substantial amount of narcotics, with an estimated street value of $1,000,000. The drugs recovered included marijuana, various THC products, psilocybin mushrooms, and LSD. Additionally, a firearm with ammunition, cash, drug distribution equipment, and electronic devices were confiscated.
Two individuals were arrested at the scene and charged with multiple offenses, including Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substances (LSD, THC, and psilocybin mushrooms) and Possession of Marijuana (5-50 pounds).
The evidence collected during the operation will play a critical role in prosecuting those responsible and will support ongoing efforts to combat illegal activity in the community. Authorities reaffirm their commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all residents in Williamson County.
