Violent Houston Woman Arrested for Assault  and Outstanding Felony Warrants

On February 5, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to a disturbance reported in the 3200 block of Chapel Bend Drive near Bammel. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers detained the suspect involved, identified as 53-year-old Cynthia Malone.

Following initial inquiries, it was uncovered that Malone allegedly assaulted and strangled an individual at the location. Subsequent investigation revealed three outstanding felony warrants against her, including charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Injury to an Elderly Person, and Felony Theft.

Consequently, Malone was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail on the strength of the felony warrants. Additionally, she faces charges of Assault and Assault Impeding Breath in connection with the incident.
