Two Arrested for Reckless Racing on Spring Cypress Road

On January 14, 2024, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office witnessed two vehicles speeding recklessly in the 13800 block of Spring Cypress Road. The two trucks were engaged in a race, maneuvering dangerously through traffic.

In response to the blatant disregard for the safety of individuals and property, law enforcement pursued the vehicles.

Subsequently, both drivers, identified as 43-year-old Carlos Bermudez and 20-year-old Adrian Gonzalez, were apprehended. They have been arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of Racing on Highway.

As is the custom in Harris County and nowhere else, the bond for each offender has been set at $100.
