Traffic Stop on I-10 Leads to Seizure of Cocaine and THC Products Hidden in Van Walls

On August 1, 2025, at approximately 11:23 a.m., Chambers County Interdiction Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a van near I-10 and Jenkins Road in Winnie, Texas. During the stop, the driver’s behavior raised suspicion, prompting detectives to call for a K-9 unit.

The K-9 gave a positive alert to the vehicle, and a search revealed approximately 7.2 kilograms of cocaine and around 960 grams of THC products concealed within the walls of the van.

The driver, identified as Dallas Brady of Dickinson, Texas, was arrested and charged with two first-degree felonies: Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 1) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 2). Brady was booked into the Chambers County Jail.

The case remains under investigation.
