Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Fugitive with Stolen Vehicle in Harris County

Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 11000 block of Will Clayton Parkway on January 3, 2024. The driver initially provided a false name but was later identified as 28-year-old Jeremy Cole after a thorough investigation.

Subsequent inquiries revealed that Cole had an active Felony Warrant for Felon in Possession of a Firearm issued in Brazoria County. Additionally, it was discovered that the vehicle he was driving had been reported stolen to the Houston Police Department.

Jeremy Cole was subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. He faces charges for the open warrants and has been charged with Failure to Identify Fugitive and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Cole’s bond was set at $16,000.00 by the 248th District County and County Court 14.
