Antonio Love

Charges have been filed against Antonio Love, 24, in connection with the fatal shooting of Jason Bush, 41, at 1514 White Oak Drive on November 4. Love is charged with murder in the 262nd State District Court.

The incident unfolded around 7:05 p.m. when HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a gas station. Upon arrival, they found Mr. Bush unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a black sedan. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Bush deceased from a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation and evidence from the scene revealed that Bush had met with two unknown suspects in a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck in the parking lot. A male suspect approached Bush’s vehicle, and gunfire ensued. The white male suspect returned to the pickup truck, described as a blue Ford F-150, and fled the scene.

Antonio Love was identified as one of the suspects in the incident. On January 3, members of the U.S. Marshals arrested him in Alexandria, Louisiana. He is currently booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, awaiting extradition to Harris County. A Rapides Parish, Louisiana, booking photo of Love has been released.

Authorities are still seeking information on the identity and whereabouts of a second suspect involved in the murder, an unidentified white male suspect.
