Traffic Stop in Humble Leads to Arrest of Suspect with Open Parole Violation for Murder

On December 13, 2023, a Sergeant with Constable Mark Office conducted a routine traffic stop in the 8900 block of Sweet Blue Jasmine Lane in Humble, TX. The driver, identified as 35-year-old James Hightower, came under scrutiny during the stop. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Hightower had an open Parole Violation Warrant for Murder/Manslaughter.

James Hightower was subsequently taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail in connection with the open warrant. In addition to the parole violation, Hightower faces charges of Aggravated Robbery, with a bond set at $20,000 by District Court 338.
