Three Suspects Arrested After Shooting on Ella Boulevard
On August 21, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a weapons disturbance in the 14500 block of Ella Boulevard.
A female victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Deputies identified Gerson Flores, Jeancarlo Zelaya, and Freylin Machado as being involved in the shooting. The victim and her husband were fired upon while driving through an apartment complex in a tow truck.
The three suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with serious bodily injury.
Flores and Machado are awaiting bond in the 174th District Court. Zelaya’s bond was set at $60,000.
