Three Arrested in Connection with 2022 Fatal Shooting in Alief

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man that occurred on June 27, 2022, at 11818 Spring Grove Drive in the Alief area around 9:15 p.m. The victim, identified as Timothy Dare, 29, was found lying unresponsive in a driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by paramedics, Dare was pronounced deceased at an area hospital on June 28, 2022.

Damuntrey Nunn, 23, has been charged with murder and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in relation to the incident. Additionally, Chrishawn Jones, 23, and Jerry Lee Anderson, 26, face the same charges in connection with Dare’s death.

Nunn was apprehended by members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force on September 27, 2023, and subsequently charged. Jones was arrested on October 3, 2023, by members of the HPD Gang Division Crime Reduction Unit and North Belt Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team. Anderson, who is currently in federal custody on unrelated charges, was charged on February 14, 2024.
