Teen Arrested in Fatal Hit-and-Run of Elderly Pedestrian in Spring

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred on May 13, 2025, in the 5400 block of Northcrest Village Way in Spring, TX.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered that the driver responsible for striking a 76-year-old pedestrian had fled without rendering aid. The elderly victim later died from the injuries sustained in the crash.

Following an investigation, Constable Deputies apprehended the suspect, identified as 18-year-old Kindrik Lindsay. Authorities confirmed that Lindsay was the driver who struck the pedestrian and then fled the scene.

Lindsay was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid Causing Death. His bond and court information have not been set at this time.
