Suspect Arrested in Stabbing of Two Women, One Victim His Sister

A suspect has been arrested following a stabbing incident that left two women injured on Saturday night, March 9th. Cody Glenn Peloquin, 22, faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault of a family member in the 182nd State District Court.

The victims, aged 26 and 28, were attacked at a residence located at 9318 East Avenue N around 10:40 p.m. Both women were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, with one listed in critical condition and the other in stable condition.

Police responded to a call reporting a cutting in-progress at the address, where they discovered that the victims had been stabbed by a known male. Officers managed to apprehend the suspect, Peloquin, as he attempted to flee the scene.

Houston Fire Department paramedics provided medical assistance and transported the victims to the hospital. Shockingly, one of the victims is reported to be the suspect’s sister.

Peloquin has been charged in connection with the incident and has been taken into custody at the Harris County Jail.
