Fatal Shooting Under Investigation in Central Northwest Houston

Houston police are currently investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred on Friday, March 8, at approximately 10:05 a.m. The incident took place at 4411 North Shepherd Drive in the Central Northwest area of Houston.

The victim’s identity has not yet been disclosed pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD patrol officers were called to the scene following reports of a shooting at a parking lot of an apartment complex located at the aforementioned address. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital, where medical personnel later pronounced him deceased.
