Suspect Arrested in Connection to Woman Found Dead in a Ditch on Halifax Street
Houston police have made an arrest in connection with the death of a woman discovered on January 11th of this year.
Willie Issac Bernard Ewing, 33, faces charges of tampering with a human corpse.
The victim, identified as Sierra Hayes, 29, was found dead in a ditch on Halifax Street. Paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
Ewing is currently hospitalized, and further details await confirmation pending an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The arrest came following an investigation by the HPD Gang Division’s Crime Reduction Unit.
