Suspect Arrested After Vehicle Theft and Crash in Harris County
On August 22, 2025, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a suspicious person call.
The suspect had stolen a vehicle and drove it without the owner’s permission. Deputies pursued the suspect, who crashed the vehicle at the end of the 2500 block of Sciaaca Road.
The suspect fled on foot and tried to hide in a garbage can behind a residence. He was located and identified as Sariel Jeter.
Jeter was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for felony theft and evading. His bond was set at $45,000 in the 208th District Court.
