In Houston, a suspect has been apprehended in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on December 13, 2023, at 8351 Park Place Boulevard. The accused, 34-year-old Lex Crouts, faces a murder charge in the 488th State District Court.

Houston police responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex on Park Place Boulevard around 11 pm, discovering the victim, identified as Mr. Robertson, in the courtyard with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by Houston Fire Department paramedics, Mr. Robertson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses reported a possible argument between Robertson and an unidentified male in the courtyard preceding the shooting. Subsequent investigation led authorities to identify Lex Crouts as the suspect.

Crouts was arrested without incident on Saturday, January 13, by the HPD Eastside Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team and the HPD Crime Reduction Unit. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has charged Crouts for his alleged role in the shooting.
