Speeding Vehicle Leads to Arrest for Theft at Shenandoah Home Depot

On December 12th, the Shenandoah Police (SHPD) K9 Officer and his K9 partner Maui were on duty when they observed a vehicle leaving the Home Depot parking lot at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was subsequently stopped for traffic violations.

Upon investigation, the SHPD K9 officer noticed the male occupant of the vehicle attempting to conceal Home Depot tools. Further inspection revealed that the tools had not been paid for and belonged to Home Depot.

In an attempt to evade authorities, the male provided false identification details, including a fake name and birthday. However, law enforcement quickly uncovered the deception.

The individual was subsequently taken into custody and transported to jail, facing charges related to theft and providing false information.
