Serial Purse Snatcher Apprehended in Heights Area, Facing Robbery Charges

In a significant development today, an alleged serial purse snatcher/robber in the Heights area has been apprehended by Harris County Constable Alan Rosen’s Precinct 1 investigators and subsequently charged with robbery. Identified as Channon Lanae Hunter, the suspect has been reportedly targeting female victims and engaging in purse-related altercations for several weeks.

The latest incidents involving Hunter occurred at an insurance business on Airline Dr and a local restaurant. Constable Rosen’s team managed to capture the suspect, who was found in possession of four purses at the time of her arrest. Further investigation revealed that Hunter had pawned at least four additional purses.
