San Antonio Man Arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor

On Aug 17th, 2023, detectives from the SAPD Human Exploitation Unit were investigating a suspect on an Online Solicitation of a Minor case where the suspect was engaged in a sexually explicit conversation with a person who he believed to be a 14 year old child. During this investigation Manuel Sanchez, 37, was positively identified as being the suspect in another Online Solicitation case where he was also engaged in a sexually explicit conversation with someone whom he also thought was a child. Human Exploitation Detectives were able to walk two Online Solicitation of a Minor warrants for Mr. Sanchez and was taken into custody by SAPD’s Covert Unit without incident.
