Port Arthur Man Arrested on Aggravated Assault Charge After Victim Suffers Broken Jaw

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — A Port Arthur man has been arrested on an aggravated assault warrant after authorities say he severely injured another man during an assault that left the victim requiring major reconstructive surgery.
According to the Port Arthur Police Department, officers responded to a call for service on May 30, 2026, involving an assault that had occurred several hours earlier.
When officers arrived, they discovered the victim had suffered a serious jaw injury. Investigators determined the victim’s jaw had been broken so severely that he required major reconstructive surgery.
