Pearland Police Arrest Two Suspects in Burglary and Aggravated Robbery Case

On November 13, 2024, the Pearland Police Department (PPD) apprehended two male suspects connected to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle (BMV) and an aggravated robbery after a coordinated effort utilizing FLOCK License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology.

Sequence of Events:

  • An officer with the Houston Police Department (HPD) notified Pearland police about a vehicle suspected in a recent BMV incident.
  • The vehicle was tracked entering Pearland city limits, and officers from the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) conducted a traffic stop in the 11000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.
  • Inside the vehicle, officers discovered multiple burglary tools, leading to the suspects’ arrest.

Robbery Connection:

  • While investigating, police received a report of an aggravated robbery that occurred minutes earlier in Pearland.
  • Evidence, including victim statements and video footage, linked the suspects and their vehicle to the robbery.
  • Investigators determined the suspects had followed an elderly victim from a local bank to his residence, where the robbery took place.

firearm, believed to have been used in the robbery, was recovered from the suspects’ vehicle.
