Multi-Day Operation Targets Prostitution and Human Trafficking in Harris County Precinct 4

In a multi-day operation aimed at combating prostitution and human trafficking, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Criminal Investigations Division and Special Operations Unit wrapped up their efforts on February 22, 2024. The operation targeted the FM 1960 corridor in response to numerous citizen complaints about illegal activities in the area.

As a result of the operation, 13 male suspects between their 20s and 60s were arrested and charged with soliciting sex acts from undercover investigators. Additionally, one individual was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and another with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Furthermore, the operation led to the clearance of 9 arrest warrants, including one for Felony Theft.

While the names and mugshots of the female suspects have not been released due to an ongoing human trafficking investigation, authorities emphasized the priority of rescuing victims of human trafficking and ensuring community safety. The proactive response aimed at deterring sexual predators underscores the commitment to combatting such crimes.
