Mother Stabbed Multiple Times by Son in Montgomery County
On May 15, 2024, at approximately 4:00 pm, Montgomery County Deputies responded to a stabbing incident in the 21000 block of Tanner Trail N in Porter. Initial reports indicated that a 43-year-old woman had been stabbed multiple times by her 20-year-old son. Upon arrival, deputies detained the suspect, who was found inside the residence.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries, described as non-life-threatening but critical.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit, alongside Crime Scene Investigators, are currently at the scene conducting an investigation. Despite the severity of the incident, authorities have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to safety.
This remains an active investigation.
UPDATE: Jonathan Meza has been identified as the suspect in the stabbing case. Meza is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $150,000 bond for the charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The victim is out of surgery and is in stable condition.
