Mother Fatally Shot in Houston While Returning Home With Sons

Houston Police are currently investigating the fatal shooting of a woman that took place at 3100 Elmside Drive around 8 p.m. last Friday, February 23.

The victim, identified as Isha Goff, aged 37, was found shot in her vehicle by HPD patrol officers who responded to the scene. Despite efforts by Houston Fire Department paramedics, Goff was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Goff, accompanied by her two sons aged 13 and 3, was on her way home when two unidentified male suspects approached her vehicle and opened fire. Goff sustained fatal injuries in the shooting, but her children were unharmed.

The suspects are described as two black males in their late teens to early twenties.
