Midland Man Arrested for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child After Hospital Contacts Police

MIDLAND, Texas—A Midland man has been arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child following an investigation by the Midland County Sheriff’s Office.

On December 29, 2024, the Midland County Sheriff’s Office was called to Midland Memorial Hospital regarding a report of a sexual assault of a child. During the initial investigation, biological evidence was collected and sent for analysis.

Investigators continued the investigation, and based on evidence obtained, identified 19-year-old Zeth Marqualynn Taylor as the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued for Taylor, who has been arrested and booked into the Midland County Central Detention Center. He is charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
