Man Hospitalized After Shooting in Northeast Harris County, Detectives Investigating

HOUSTON — Detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an aggravated assault after a man was found shot multiple times Saturday night in northeast Harris County.
Deputies responded around 10 p.m. on May 16, 2026, to the 12400 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard following reports of a shooting.
According to investigators, responding deputies located a man lying on the ground suffering from multiple apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
Detectives with the sheriff’s office Violent Offenders Unit responded to process the scene, collect evidence, and interview witnesses.
Authorities said investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting and are actively attempting to identify a suspect.
While deputies were on scene, three men were arrested on unrelated charges. Investigators said it remains unclear whether those individuals had any involvement in the shooting.
