Man Fatally Shot While Seated in Parked Vehicle in Brays Oaks Area
Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at 8103 Creekbend Drive in the Brays Oaks area around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 9.
The victim, identified as a 27-year-old male, was found shot while seated in the driver’s seat of his vehicle in a gas station parking lot at the aforementioned address. Subsequently, the vehicle crashed into a pole on-site. Despite efforts from Houston Fire Department paramedics, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim is awaiting verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
As of now, authorities have not determined a motive for the shooting, nor do they have a description of the suspect(s) involved.
