Man Fatally Shot On Bellfort Ave in Houston Identified, Police Seek Leads

Police in Houston have identified a man who was found fatally shot on April 18 at 7250 Bellfort Avenue. The victim has been named as Jimmy Allan Goree, aged 38. Responding to a call of a deceased person, HPD patrol officers discovered Goree unresponsive on the ground near a walking trail. He had sustained at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Witnesses reported seeing a red, four-door Ford Probe leaving the area, but the direction of travel remains unknown. Currently, there is no established motive or suspect(s) in the case.
