Man Fatally Shot in Box Truck Crash on Gulf Freeway; Houston Police Needs Help

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found injured in a vehicle crash on the Gulf Freeway near 7200 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) around 10:30 p.m. on November 2.

The victim, identified as 37-year-old Robert Schorovsky, was discovered inside a large white commercial box truck that had crashed on the inbound lanes of the freeway. Responding HPD patrol officers determined Schorovsky had been shot at least once.

Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department transported Schorovsky to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Despite efforts to save him, doctors pronounced him deceased on November 4.

Currently, investigators have not identified any suspects or witnesses. The case remains under investigation.
