Liberty County Deputies Seize Meth, Arrest Two in Cleveland Traffic Stop

CLEVELAND, TX – On September 25, 2025, the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop on a maroon Buick traveling on US-59 North in Cleveland for multiple traffic violations.
The driver, 40-year-old Terrence Partee, and passenger, 37-year-old Desmond Sices of Alexandria, Louisiana, were suspected of criminal activity. Deputies obtained verbal consent to search the vehicle, leading to the discovery of a hidden bag in the trunk’s spare tire compartment containing approximately 511 grams (1.1 pounds) of suspected crystal methamphetamine.
Both Partee and Sices were arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Penalty Group 1) over 400 grams, a first-degree felony. They were booked into the Liberty County Jail.
