Juvenile Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Two Vehicles on Greenhouse Road

An incident occurred on Thursday, February 15, 2024, around 10:18 PM, on Greenhouse Road in northwest Houston. Alberto Angel Marquina was driving a white 2011 GMC Sierra pick-up truck southbound at the 4600 block of Greenhouse Road when a known juvenile female stepped into the roadway from the median. Marquina struck the juvenile, causing her to be propelled forward.

Shortly after, Uchechi Orduji, operating a white 2012 Nissan Sentra, also traveling southbound on Greenhouse Road, hit the juvenile while she was lying on the road. The victim was rushed to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center but succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at 11:03 PM.

Both drivers involved in the incident stayed at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is currently investigating the incident.
