Identity and Cause of Death Awaited in Aftermath of Houston House Fire

Houston police are currently awaiting autopsy results following the discovery of a deceased male after a fire was extinguished at 203 East 30th Street around 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17.

The identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The incident unfolded when HPD patrol officers responded to a house fire at the specified address. Houston Fire Department emergency personnel discovered the lifeless male inside the burned remains of a detached shed.
