HPD Investigates Death of Male Found in Westchase Area Pond

Houston Police are investigating the death of a male discovered at 10777 Westheimer Road in the Westchase area on Thursday afternoon around 12:45 p.m. The identity and cause of death of the individual are currently pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to reports, HPD patrol officers were summoned to the scene after receiving a report of a person found in a pond at the specified address. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male. Houston Fire Department paramedics also responded to the scene and pronounced the individual deceased.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with authorities awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the manner and cause of death.
