Suspect Arrested in Connection with Cavalcade Street Shooting

Quendarious Emerson, 26, has been taken into custody in relation to the shooting incident that occurred at 3400 Cavalcade Street on November 21, 2023. Emerson faces two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The victims, a 33-year-old female and a 30-year-old male, are anticipated to recover from their injuries sustained during the incident.

Upon receiving a shooting call at the specified address, Houston Police Department (HPD) patrol officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds and a woman with a gunshot wound. Both victims were promptly transported to a nearby hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Following initial investigations, Emerson was identified as the prime suspect and subsequently charged on December 19.

Further inquiries led to information regarding Emerson’s whereabouts. He was apprehended without incident on Wednesday, February 7, and has been booked into the Harris County Jail.
