Charges Filed Against Suspect in Crown Park Drive Shooting Incident in November 2023
Charges have been brought against a suspect, Ethan Tutson, in connection with a shooting incident that took place on November 28, 2023, at 11239 Crown Park Drive around 5:05 p.m.
Tutson, aged 38, faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful carrying of a weapon in the 180th State District Court. He is identified as potentially driving either a maroon Dodge Charger with Texas license plates NSV8830 or a newer model gray or tan Chevrolet Impala with unknown license plates. As of now, Tutson remains not in custody.
The victim, a 51-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital following the incident and has since been treated and released.
According to reports, patrol officers were alerted by the victim and a witness at the intersection of Meadowfern Drive and Northborough Drive. They reported that Tutson, following a verbal altercation which escalated into a physical confrontation, shot at them. The victim intervened to separate Tutson and the witness, but Tutson proceeded to shoot the victim multiple times as they attempted to leave the scene. Both the victim and the witness managed to seek help from officers after fleeing.
Following an investigation and consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, charges were filed against Tutson, who is noted to habitually carry a firearm and is currently at large.
