Houston Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Person of Interest in Fatal Shooting

Houston police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Zavion Joshua Pabon, 18, in connection with the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man on November 24, 2024, at 3850 Wilcrest Drive.

Officers responded to the scene around 1:40 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. The victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced deceased on November 28, 2024.

Pabon, whose June 2023 booking photo is being shared by authorities, is not currently facing charges but is considered a person of interest in the investigation. Detectives are seeking to speak with him regarding the incident.
